David BASSIR is an Professor at the French University of Technology and also a Senior Research at ENS- Paris Saclay University. Since September 2024, he joined the Sino-French institute DCI-CNAM, Dongguan University of Technology, China (As Changjiang scholar). Previously, he was the dean of IUT at the University of Lorraine (France), Consult for Science and Technology at the French Embassy to serve at the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou (China), General Director of Research at the civil engineering school (ESTP-Paris) and Space Craft engineer at GECI Technology in different space agencies such as Arianespace and Astrium Group. He joined the mechanical department of the UTBM as associate professor in 2001 and the Chair Aerospace Structures in 2008 at Technical University of Delft as visiting professor. He holds a Master and a PhD degree in structural optimization from the University of Franche-Comté (France). He has published more than 150 papers in journals, books and conference proceedings. His main research activities are based on Structural optimization, Multiscale modelling, Smart buildings and intelligent transportations with artificial intelligence. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Int. journal IJSMDO (Scopus, EI) that is published by EDP Sciences.

Prof. Gongfa Chen

Gongfa Chen, Professor, his main research fields include the application of artificial intelligence in civil engineering, with notable achievements particularly in bridge structural health monitoring, slope stability analyses, and road defects detection. He has led two National Natural Science Foundation projects, one provincial-level international science and technology cooperation project, and over five industrial projects. Prof./Dr. Law Teik Hua

Dr. Law Teik Hua is a Professor at the Road Safety Research Center, Faculty of Engineering, University Putra Malaysia (UPM), and an expert in Road Safety, Public Transport Analysis, and Traffic Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Road Safety Engineering from Imperial College London in 2009 and has since made significant contributions to transportation safety, particularly in Malaysia. Throughout his career, Dr. Law has held various leadership roles at UPM, including Coordinator for the Master of Highway and Transportation Engineering program, Mentor for the English Immersion Program, and Chairman for the Seminar on Road Safety Black Spot Methodologies. He has also played a key role in bridging academia and industry by serving as Coordinator for the Industrial Master Program in Road Safety Engineering. A prolific researcher, Dr. Law has published 60 journal articles and presented 35 papers at international conferences, shaping policies and methodologies that enhance road safety. His extensive contributions, both in research and industry engagement, have made him a highly respected figure in the field of transportation safety, with a lasting impact on road safety initiatives locally and globally.

Assoc. Prof. Jingwei Guo

Dr. Jingwei Guo received his Ph.D. in transportation planning and management from Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), Chengdu, China. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business at City University of Macau, and also the supervisor of Master and Ph.D. postgraduates. He serves as the Technical Committee Co-chair of the 3rd WTC Academic Sub-Committee from December 2023 to October 2026. He is also a member of the Chinese Society of Highways, the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, and the Chinese Society of Simulation. He holds senior AI algorithm and programming credentials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. He has authored or coauthored more than 40 papers in reputed journals, such as Knowledge-Based Systems, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, and Expert Systems with Applications. He serves also frequently as a Guest Editor for Sustainability and several other international journals. Additionally, he holds 14 authorized domestic invention patents and 2 international invention patents as the primary inventor. His research interests include optimization of railway transport organization, decision-making, supply chain management, artificial intelligence and deep learning, machine learning.

Prof. Ping Yang

Ping Yang, male, a Level-2 professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing Forestry University, a recipient of the special allowance from the State Council. He holds the titles of Teaching Master of Jiangsu Province and Chief Expert of the Jiangsu Urban Rail Transit Expert Committee, serving concurrently as the head of the Science and Technology Group. Additionally, he is an Executive Council Member of both the Environmental Geotechnical Engineering Branch and the Engineering Safety and Protection Branch of the Chinese Rock Mechanics and Engineering Society, as well as the Vice President of the Jiangsu Geotechnical Mechanics and Engineering Society. Yang has previously served as the Dean of the College of Civil Engineering and the Graduate School at Nanjing Forestry University. Currently, he leads the discipline of Civil Engineering and directs the Institute of Geotechnical and Underground Engineering.
He has presided over and undertaken more than 50 national research projects, including key national research programs, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and major horizontal technical service projects. He has authored over 260 academic papers and edited and published 3 national planning textbooks, 3 provincial key textbooks, and 2 monographs, along with 2 group standards. His contributions have been recognized with two first-prize awards, five second-prize awards, and five third-prize awards at the provincial and ministerial levels for scientific and technological progress, as well as two second-prize awards for national teaching achievements.

Prof. Yadan Yan

Yadan Yan is a Professor and doctoral supervisor in School of Civil Engineering, Zhengzhou University. She was once a jointly trained doctoral student at the National University of Singapore and a visiting professor at the University of Technology Sydney. She has been selected as a high-level talent in Henan Province and has received numerous honors, including the Academic and Technical Leader of the Henan Provincial Department of Education, Young Key Teacher of Henan Higher Education Institutions, Excellent Bachelor's Thesis Supervisor in Henan Province, Advanced Individual of "Three Educations" in Zhengzhou University, and "My Favorite Teacher" in Zhengzhou University. She has presided over and completed more than ten projects, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (both general and youth projects), special and general grants from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Zhongyuan Youth Top-notch Talents Project, the Young Key Teacher Project of Henan Higher Education Institutions, the Youth Talent Innovation Team Support Program and the Excellent Young Teacher Development Fund Program of Zhengzhou University, as well as several enterprise-oriented horizontal research projects. She has long been engaged in research on the operational analysis and planning and design of urban public transportation systems and road traffic systems. She has published the academic monograph "Analysis of Operational Reliability and Scheduling Control in Ground Public Transportation" and over 50 high-quality academic journal papers both domestically and internationally (including 30 SCI and EI journal papers and 2 ESI highly cited papers). She has also been granted 13 national invention patents.
